Equinox Night

I'm not going to tell you all about Ostara because you already know and other bloggers have done and better than I could. The Wild Hunt has a great rundown.

Ostara is a Sabbat that doesn't really hold a lot of meaning for me. It's associations with Easter are still strong in my mind. I don't mean in any religious sense; I'm not thinking about the resurrection of Jesus. I'm talking about Easter in secular way, about spring, the bunnies, the peeps, and so forth. I enjoy it, but I lack a strong spiritual connection to it.
It's been a nice day though. I woke up feeling really good. It was a beautiful morning and I could draw a lot of energy from the sun. This evening, I joined some friends for a little birthday celebration (not mine).

I'll celebrate Ostara this weekend with my coven, but it will be more about the bunnies, the eggs, and the chocolate than anything else. I'm really looking forward to it though. My HPS has dubbed it the Ostara that Ate the World since we're having so many guests. More on that to come.
