My response:
Later, Hazel had said that there was nothing for it but to cross the open pasture and under Silver's direction that had crossed it, with Dandelion running ahead to reconnoiter. When Fiver said the iron tree was harmless they believed him.
Strawberry had had a bad time.
That's from Watership Down by Richard Adams, which my coven mascot instructed me to read (long story).

I loved that book. My English teacher in 7th grade made me read it. Isn't it funny how someone says - you must read this - and it transforms us? Why don't we come to this book on our own.
Okay Cosette, here you go: Angela-Eloise's Book Meme
OK! I'm up, over at Affluenza and a No-Cheating Book Meme over at Quaker Pagan Reflections.
I'm curious, now... why did your coven mascot instruct you to read this one? (I love the book, and I think there honestly is a lot of spiritual value in it. But, of course, as an English teacher, I think that about most good novels!)
